Take your love for coffee to a whole new level! This unique necklace is made from a triple strand of real coffee beans and polished nickel. The three strands vary from all beans to a mixture of beans and metal beads. A Ten Thousand Villages exclusive from Entoto in Ethiopia.

Woven into this necklace is the legend of Ethiopian coffee, which grows wild in the lush highland forests of Ethiopia. Legend has it that a goatherd noticed his goats were frisky after eating some berries, so he tried them, and felt great. A monk then discovered the energized goatherd and took berries back to the monastery to help keep everyone alert during their night prayers. The monks enjoyed the berries, the Ethiopian coffee ceremony was born, and the tradition of drinking coffee spread worldwide.
