Rich patina and hand-etched design highlight your treasured photos. These frames are made from buffalo horns which are slit and heated so that the softened horn can be opened and spread flat. Shapes are cut and sanded smooth. To achieve different colors and designs, artisans heat the horn again until it turns a caramel color and the softened surface can be crafted. The wood base is made of particle board made from recycled Nu wood.
