Scott Ripley, Chapel Hill, NC: “I bought the kite in a TTV retail store, and LOVE it. It's true that the blue is gorgeous, but I love the red one I bought too. It's important to remember that these kites are hand painted, so no two designs are going to be exactly the same. The kite actually flies really well. It can be a bit tricky to get together - took me a few minutes to figure it out - but the design is brilliant: a double slip-knot centers the string perfectly. If you do decide to fly it, be careful of the legs and antennae. We lost one on our first outing. Fortunately, they're all bright yellow, so it wasn't hard to retrace our steps, find the antenna, and operate. We were back in the air the next day!”

Please note that if you get one, it might not look like the photo. And I don't mean EXACTLY like the photo...I mean NOT like the photo. Although I did get it very quickly, thank you!!!!”
