Circle the day with this delightful clock made from recycled materials. This coiled newspaper clock is handcrafted by artisans working with the Women’s Multipurpose Cooperative in Baguio City, the Philippines. Using an innovative process, the women turn old newspapers into new and beautiful products by wrapping the paper into coils of varying shapes and forming them into spiraled building blocks. These building blocks are then joined together with thread and/or glue to make this clock. The pieces are then starched to make them firm and shiny. Uses AA batteries. Batteries not included.
