Using a running kantha stitch, artisans spend hours piecing together silk repurposed from other garments, giving each a new life as this one-of-a-kind 100% silk shawl. Handmade by artisans working with our fair trade partner, Craft Resource Center, helping informally organized artisan groups develop self-sustaining businesses.

Perfect for layering!

I received one in greens and blues as a gift and love it! It's been perfect for layering in my chilly office, where it's just enough warmth without being sweltering hot, and I love the vibrant colors and the fact that a lot of work has clearly gone into selecting both the silk scraps and stitching it all together.
