A compass workshop in India called Vertex evolved from a group of craftsmen who originally made surveying equipment for some of the earliest canals in the region. Makers have adapted their designs to meet the needs of a changing market, but have held true to their craftsmanship skills.

Broken needle

The compass looked great at the time of arrival. Id did last for a few days and then the needle broke.

Awesome Keychain

Bought this because it looked cool, but found it actually works pretty well for hiking! I find it takes a bit to settle if you've been moving a lot, but laying it on a flat palm until it settles works well.

I love this its really cool its different then I thought, but then again I didn't look at the second picture that would have helped. Definitely a good buy though. I carry it around wherever and its really good quality, its also good for hiking.

I love my compass keychain. I either clip it on my purse, on my hiking jacket, or keys and know it will help me keep the course. It makes me feel like an archaeologist on a dig. Beautifully made.
