Description

Derived from the trunk of the banana tree, banana fiber is a renewable meterial with many uses. After bananas are harvested, pieces are cut from the tree, boiled down, and pounded with simple tools. The fiber can then be spun into a soft yarn. A great alternative to animal wool, banana fiber yarn is lightweight and warm. The blue color is natural indigo dye.
