For centuries, Vietnamese artisans have been known for their exquisite ceramics. Using traditional techniques at a small family workshop, artisans of Viet Lam create this ceramic planter. They put the clay into a mold, spreading it around the walls. After two hours of outdoor drying, the pot is taken out of the mold to finish drying. After applying the glaze, the artisans place the planter in the sun to dry the glaze, then fire it in a wood-fired kiln at over 800 degrees C for one day.
