A perfect light wrap, this viscose shawl features floral paisley in crimson and black. Fringed shawl from the Indian artisans of Craft Resource Center.

The powerloom industry in Punjab, where this scarf is made, is largely unregulated and dominated by large factories. This scarf, however, is sourced from a small, family-owned business that pays close attention to worker well-being. All of the dyeing is done in-house, and there is an effluent treatment plant to ensure proper treatment and disposal of wastewater and chemicals. The yarn used contains banana and pineapple fiber.
