Description

Blown glass goblet is handmade from recycled glass by artisans of Hebron Glass & Ceramic Factory. Recycled bottles are smashed into pieces and melted in high temperature ovens. In Phoenician glass blowing, artisans add substances to the molten glass, with the resulting reaction creating a range of colors. Working with this process takes an especially skilled hand, and is reserved for the true masters of the art. Each piece has its own unique blend of color and pattern.

I thought about this goblet for months before actually purchasing it- every time I saw one in a store, I marveled at it's glasswork and how the light plays on it from within. It's really a functional work of art. So, I went ahead and purchased it. Every time I use it- at least one meal a day- I feel like royalty for a meal in my humble apartment. We ought all to have our radiant fairly traded goblets to hold. Good job, Hebron Glass & Ceramic Factory, good job.
