Like a traditional Indian tiffin box, this delightful bangle or jewelry box features two stacked compartments and a lid. The burgundy leather compartments and lid are embossed in a traditional paisley pattern. The zipper closures are matching burgundy. Compartments are lined in light brown velvet.

Kalka is the Asian term for paisley, a later Western term. Kalka patterns date back to Mughal times, perhaps originating from the form of a mango, leaf, flame or half of the yin/yang symbol.
