Imagine a serene garden in spring, the early morning sun slants light in just the right way. There stands a trellis, glistening softly in hues of hammered copper, bringing the feeling of quiet reflection.
In the Home, In the Garden
The sturdiness of iron meets the decorative warmth and sheen of copper to create a piece that is both practical and aesthetically gorgeous. Indoors, the trellis will stand as the art that it is—a statement piece to soften the hard corners of a room. Outdoors, the trellis can serve a practical purpose, allowing morning glories and other delicate vines to climb and wind, to reach and unfold into the beautiful full plants they long to be.
Brought to be by the skilled metalworkers of Moradabad India, the Copper Branch Trellis will bring a feeling of peace to a room. Artisans from Noah’s Ark International weld and hammer each piece of this masterpiece entirely by hand.
Noah’s Ark was founded by Samuel Masih, a businessman who recognized that exporters and middlemen were taking advantage of handicraft artisans. He established his own workshop in 1986 in a one room family home. The group has since expanded, representing close to 300 artisans who make picture frames, jewelry and other home accent products for Ten Thousand Villages.
Standing tall and elegant, anyone who visits your home will marvel at this piece because it has a personality all its own. As if the beauty wasn’t enough, this trellis also provides artisans in India steady work and a reliable income through fair wages in fair trade.
