“I want to change the world.”

Victoria stumbled across Ten Thousand Villages during a service project at Lipscomb University last year. When her project ended, she continued as a store volunteer. “I enjoy the atmosphere, the people, and how there’s always something new in the store.”

A political science major, Victoria hopes her degree will provide her with the opportunity to make a difference in the world and to take a global post. She could see herself as a US ambassador in a foreign country. She would also like to build hospitals in developing countries, changing the way people think about medicine.

Always game for the adventure, Victoria’s life motto: “Why not?”
Why not join our village of volunteers? Meet new friends and support artisans around the world! As a non-profit store, volunteers are critical to our success. We rely on volunteers to greet and interact with customers, unpack and check orders, assist with displays, and operate the cash register. We welcome new volunteers any time of the year.
