    The Palewa Owl Bookends are everything they say. Polished Black pair of soapstone Owls. Could be given as two gifts. They are absolutly beautiful. Give the appearance of onyx. I had the priviledge of visiting the "Ten Thousand Villages" shop with a friend from Hesston , Kansas a couple of weeks ago. We spent the whole afternoon there. I loved this shop. The purchases I made were shipped home by my request. Such pleasant people and so helpful in my selections of gifts for my 12 grandshildren. Now...I thrilled to see that you are on line.
