Ten Thousand Villages Attends the Fair Trade Futures Conference
September 30 October 2, 2005
Ten Thousand Villages was one of several fair trade organizations which sponsored the Fair Trade Futures conference in Chicago, Illinois from September 30 to October 2.

and listen to the Fair Trade Rap that conference participants enjoyed on Friday evening. The rap was written by children in the United Kingdom as part of a contest sponsored by the Day Chocolate Company and the Kuapa Kokoo farming cooperative in Ghana.

A Tribute to Mansoor Ali, Dominion Traders, Karachi, Pakistan
On Monday, September 12, 2005 we were deeply saddened to learn that Mansoor Ali, Executive Director for Dominion Traders in Pakistan, died unexpectedly of heart failure. Along with the Ali family, staff and workshop artisans at Dominion Traders we grieve the loss of Mansoor.
