Light-colored, cheery teal and yellow napkins, perfect for picnics or your summer table. Set of four cotton napkins are woven on foot looms by artisans of Physically Handicapped Training and Rehabilitation Center (PHTRC) in Wanlesswadi, India, south of Mumbai.

PHTRC started in the 1940s as part of a mission hospital treating people with leprosy. All the artisans involved with the group either have leprosy themselves or are children and family members of people with leprosy. The employment opportunities offered by PHTRC are valuable for affected artisans because of the significant stigma attached to leprosy in India.
