Santa Maria Camera BagPRINT THIS PAGE

SKU: 8801150

SKU# 8801150

Useful, attractive and tough enough for travel. This little bag hides lots of pockets. This provides the muted colors, and soft feel that cannot be duplicated in newly woven fabric. The fabric was originally used in the traditional skirts worn by women from the community of Santa Maria de Jesus, which is a village in the department of Sacatepequez, by the bank of the Agua Volcano near Antigua Guatemala. The decorative portion uses backstrap woven fabric with design motifs taken from the traditional blouses (huipil) found in Chichicastenango.
