This rattle is great fun! It goes with me when I go to the pet stores to buy fish (I have three freshwater aquariums). We all have great fun celebrating when the new fish arrive, too. This past Sunday, it went to church with me. I also took my Kenya gourd rattle, but none on the songs needed that. I did use the fish rattle from Cameroon. I also used them as props when I spoke about a special event at Ten Thousand Villages for church members. For me, worship is a celebration! My church does have many Ten Thousand Villages instruments, but folks are reluctant to use them. I just take my own.
This little fish is just one of my instruments from Africa. I have also purchased several instruments for my son.
