STORY
The calm blue tone of the Tree of Life Mood Lamp creates a soft, relaxing light. Place it in your favorite room and plug it in after a long day. This lamp is handcrafted by artisans of Prokritee, meaning "nature" in Bangla. Located mainly in rural areas across Bangladesh, small workshops of mostly women offer safe working conditions and source locally available materials so that families can stay together in their villages rather than migrating to urban areas in search of jobs. Handmade with an intricately cut paper shade with silk paper backing, natural string stitching at the edges with a bamboo base.
