  • Description

Let this airy angel of light top your holiday Christmas tree. Handcrafted from sinamay in the Philippines. Sinamay is a natural woven fiber made from the stripped fiber of the abaca tree. Abaca is a banana-like tree with a slender trunk and thin leaves. The fine strands of fibers are woven into fabrics with a wooden loom. The resulting woven fabric is called sinamay. Sinamay fibers are also used for making cordage and ropes.

Natural sinamay fiber color, with gold accents on skirt and gold halo.

  • Very simple, looks lackluster on the tree

    . . . . .

It looked prettier online. I wanted to support my Filipino community so I purchased this thinking that it also looks pretty. It's okay. Maybe it's a little too small for my tree. I think I want a tree topper that lights up. You cannot see this tree topper in a dark room even if the tree lights are on. I do not want to waste this so I think I will place it on a bookshelf next year when I replace it with a new tree topper.

  • We love it

    . . . . .

My family loves this. It is very simple and the angel wears her long hair in a ponytail as all the girls in this family tend to do, so that is fun for us. I'm glad I got it on sale, but ultimately, we're glad it helps someone make a living in a developing country.

  • Beautiful

I love it! It's perfect. Beautiful and well crafted.
