At the Kinh family workshop in the famous pottery village of Bat Trang, Vietnam, ceramics artisans carry on centuries-old tradition. Craftspeople, mostly women, earn a meaningful income, blending their artistic skills, traditional techniques and an array of designs. Painted and glazed by hand. High-fired for strength and durability.

Depth, Dimension, Durability

These are a stunning masterpiece. I love how every spoon has a different design painted in it and the pictures do not do justice to the rich depth and dimension of those colored designs. They feel like heavy, glazed, smooth ceramic. My husband takes greater care with them for the materials used to make them elicits reverence and caution at first sight, but I've been less careful with them and am super impressed with how durable they actually are! Heavier than they look and well-made. Not likely to ever break with normal use.
