For us, this means ensuring every ring in our collection is ethically sourced from one of our fair trade partners. All of our fair trade rings are made by artisan groups that provide fair wages to crafters and help support their local community. In India, we partner with not–for–profit organizations like Asha that promote sustainability and educational assistance for children. Meanwhile, Intercrafts Peru is a democratic cooperative of Peruvian artisan groups that helps crafters reach new markets for their jewelry and other handicrafts. We’ve partnered with these organizations and many others like them to make shopping for rings and other ethically sourced jewelry available to everyone. Made by the Rajana Association of Cambodia, these rings and other jewelry pieces use materials from recovered bombshells littered across Cambodia. The casings are transformed from something that was once destructive into wearable statements of peace and progress. Because every ring in our collection is handcrafted, each has a similar story of a crafter, a place, and the culture that makes them both unique.
