Native to the Tabaka Hills of Kenya, kisii stone ranges from pink to white and has long between a source of income for the people living in this area. Carvers use the simple tools of their ancestors to earn sustainable incomes, and additional proceeds from their work have helped to establish a community library and increase literacy in this rural area.
