This couldn’t be more steam punk if it tried or Wander Society. It’s a very basic compass, so don’t expect extreme precision on this. Be careful not to unwind the side knob all the way otherwise the inside piece slips (which locks the compass in place, for times when you want it to remain motionless) + can be difficult to rethread. Although, I did manage to rethread it quickly when mine became loose inside. Got one for my stepdaughter too, who loves compasses that you can wear. It is the coolest anti-technology + live in the moment, addition to your wardrobe. I have a very small wrist and the watchband fits perfectly. I usually have to set most watchbands to the smallest size that it adjusts to. On this one there are two additional holes that would make it fit an even smaller wrist. There are three holes that would allow for larger wrists; although I wonder if folks with much larger wrists would have a harder time wearing it. Seems to be sized more for women than men.

Cool and stylish accessory!

I am a big fan of this wrist compass. I feel that it grounds me wherever I go in my place on earth. It's large and chunky on my narrow wrist. At the Apple store last week, a tech asked me about it, I told him it was an anti-Apple watch, and he agreed that it was cool (:
