  • Description

Perfect for the environmentally conscious consumer, this hot mat is created using recycled materials by the Women’s Multipurpose Cooperative in Baguio City, Philippines. An innovative process turns old newspapers into new products by wrapping the paper into coils and forming them into spiraled square building blocks. These blocks are joined with thread and/or glue and starched. Product has been tested and should stand up to heat and moisture that comes with average use.

  • Enjoy the use of mine.

Perfect on my night stand. I use it under my water carafe, simple and lovely. Also I've tried making one on my own, it's more difficult than it looks.

  • Love them

I love these! I bought them for myself and have since bought more as gifts. They're a clever use of materials and conversation piece. they're made of paper so you just can't get them wet...I assume!

These look just as good on the table as they do hanging on my wall when I'm not using them!
