Ten Thousand Villages is more than a store. We're a global maker‑to‑market movement. We're a way for you to shop with intention for ethically-sourced wares — and to share in the joy of connecting with makers in ten thousand villages.
Manna on Mondays & Food Cupboard Fridays
On Mondays & Fridays only, non-perishable foods (dry food basics, peanut butter and canned foods), personal care items (deodorant, soap, feminine care products, toothbrushes, toothpaste) and baby basic needs (diapers, wipes, formula, food) are collected in our store at 101 West State Street in Media, PA. (Donors who wish to shop in our store that day will save 10% on their purchase excluding all other discounts; and we thank them in advance for their generosity.)
Collection items are then delivered to or picked up by the Food Cupboard for distribution to nutritionally marginalized families in the Media community. Currently, 1st United Methodist Church Food Bank serves upwards of 65 to 80 families weekly. For more information, please feel free to drop into our store to speak with an associate or contact us at email@example.com.
Did you know that we do educational events and community outreach? If you are part of a school, church or other organization, contact our store manager about having a special event either at your location or at our store on State Street. We are happy to work with groups of all sizes; no group is too small. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
