Traditional paisley block-print patterns, on a soft cotton robe. Block printing is a labor-intensive method of hand-printing fabric. The artisans imprint the cloth with a wooden block featuring a hand-carved design and a guide or registration point to dovetail both designs and colors. The printer moves from left to right, dipping the design block into the dye and stamping it onto the cloth. This is repeated to cover the entire cloth with the intended design and colors.

length comes to mid-calf. For me the "one size" works well. If you are
very slender this robe might be too large for you. Very comfortable and I wear it often.

    • Beautiful robe
      . . . . .

I bought this robe for myself and will use it for summer and travel when I want a lightweight cotton robe. The print is beautiful and the sewing/construction is excellent. The seams are bound so they won't ravel. The color is more muted than the picture. It is a pale blueish- lavender. ...

    • beautiful fabric but huge fit
      . . . . .

I LOVE the fabric, but beware of the "one size fits all." I am a small to medium and it is unflatteringly big. Also realize that with a kimono style sleeve, you won't be doing any kitchen work. It might look better if they offered it in a maxi style to offset the hugeness....
