There’s Nothing Better than seeing it yourself!

“A feast for the eyes” and “Enrichment for the heart” are just a couple descriptions we’ve heard our customers say. Meet our award winning Volunteers and Staff, some of whom are pictured here. If you have questions, let us guide you “around the world” through 30 countries of handcrafted gifts, home décor and exquisite Oriental Rugs. Your purchase will make a difference, as it has for decades!

Born of the idea that artisans in developing nations should enjoy the right to living a sustainable life, a Mennonite Volunteer, Edna Ruth Byler, became the author of Fair Trade in North America beginning with her efforts in 1946. Fast forward today, Ten Thousand Villages Fair Trade retail stores that she inspired are unique in every way!
