Ten Thousand Villages partners with board store locations. Board stores are independent 501c(3) nonprofits that are run by a board of directors, staff, and volunteers from their local communities with a mission to promote the global fair trade movement. They are part of the larger Ten Thousand Villages US network, and members of the Fair Trade Federation, but not employees of or owned by Ten Thousand Villages.
