Hand-woven Tea Strainer

I am an avid tea drinker, and as every tea lover knows, the water has to be able to circulate for the tea to brew properly. I have tried every variation of tea strainer, and although I wash them after every use, every other strainer eventually gets clogged because the mesh is too small. I have used this strainer for years, and it is the ONLY one that actually works properly. Thank you for providing it!

I absolutely love this tea strainer! I’ve always used tea balls in the past, but they were frustrating—too small to fit enough loose leaf tea and a hassle to clean. This strainer, on the other hand, is a complete game-changer. It’s beautifully hand-crafted, made with high-quality material that has that wonderful, authentic heaviness you can feel right away. It sits perfectly on top of my mug, keeps every bit of tea contained while steeping, and cleaning it is unbelievably easy. I find myself reaching for it every day and enjoying tea time so much more. I’m so grateful to the artisan who created such a thoughtful, functional, and elegant piece—I can truly feel the care that went into it. I will definitely be buying more for my family and friends!

My household primarily drinks loose leaf tea these days, and these are soooo much easier to use and clean than spherical boules! They're also closely woven enough that even our really fine rooibos doesn't get through and end up in the bottom of the mug.
