In natural tones, this is a beautifully handwoven basket from the artisans of Rishilpi in Bangladesh. Rishilpi trains and supports artisans in rural Bangladesh who weave these baskets by hand in their homes.

It’s a beautiful, excellent quality basket. I need a laundry hamper for my bathroom with very specific dimensions. This basket arrived exactly as described and pictured. It feels nice to the touch and the weave is of a very high quality.

Multitasking basket

I use this basket next to a chair in my living room to store knitting and craft supplies. The basket is so sturdy that it doubles as a side table for drinks.

Exactly as pictured!

I've been scouring the internet for ethical laundry baskets that will hold up to being filled up and moved around and finally made the choice to purchase the Calm Desert Basket 20" for the style and the price point. I like that the leather handle is soft to the touch and actually attached to the lid, not glued, so there's no risk of it falling off. The handles on the basket itself are also practical and helpfully placed. The basket is firm and just tall enough for my needs. Looking forward to many years of use!

Beautiful and great quality

We don’t have room to keep our recycling under the sink, we bought this basket to use as a pretty recycling bin in our dining room. It’s amazing quality and beautifully made! We get so many compliments on it!
