For years now I have bought the Hebron glass candle holders to light tea lights (solar or flame) in connection with those suffering the violence we've perpetrated in Gaza and West Bank and beyond. I have been concerned about the Hebron glass artisans since finding this connections through their art (and the sand they send too) Now that Hebron the city itself is under siege and neighborhoods being destroyed, I feel devastated and am hoping we who have the Hebron glass can all keep lights on and maybe post photos on internet in solidarity with their dire situation there. (I tried to post a photo of mine but crashed my message in doing so.
Perfect to light a candle and say prayers for the suffering in the holy land, to pray for mercy and repentance. I also ordered the travelers candles (2oz, various scents) in tin containers that fit perfectly into the glass, and burn longer than the tiny tea lights. Keeping this on my table during the long winter months
The recipient was very pleased with the artist craft and that it was supporting an artist from Palestine.
