The Desert Sands Candleholder glows like a campfire. You will never see a glow like this, ever, each one is one of a kind. And this one comes with sand from the Holy Land. Phoenician glass blowing is a heritage craft going back thousands of years, creating this range of swirling colors starts with recycled soda bottles that are smashed into pieces, then melted in high-temperature ovens. The molten glass is blown using a steel pipe called a kammasha, while "secret family recipes" elements that are added allow the glass blowers to craft each piece with unrepeatable patterns. Making this your new go-to candleholder for warm, one-of-a-kind mood lighting! Phoenician glass-blowing is a Natsheh family tradition at Hebron Glass in the West Bank, past down through generations. Learning this highly-prized, ancient art takes at least five years of apprenticeship.

Pretty and unique!

These are beautiful. I was given a set of 4 of these as a gift, and we use them all the time. We've used them as candle holders but we more often use them as drinking glasses! We always get complements on them when we have guests. I love that each one is slightly different as well. Beautiful work.

Beautiful piece of art

My husband bought this candle for me as a gift for Christmas. It is a beautiful piece of art. Not just your normal everyday candle. We also bought one as a gift for a family member and she loved it. The colors are different but both beautiful. Very good quality and a good size for the price.

I've been eyeing these up in the stores, but never pulled the trigger due to the price. I feel $35 is a bit much for a votive candle holder, but the money does support a wonderful cause. A close friend of mine has a birthday coming up so I decided to purchase these for her. I haven't given them to her yet, but I know she will love them. They shipped quickly and look very similar to the picture and the ones I've seen in the store. They even came with a tea light candle and small bag of sand (to steady the tea light while in the holder). Considering purchasing a set for myself now.

Lovely Piece

The Phoenician glass pieces are beautiful in their own right, but, the unique, hand-made aspect, and the way the light dances through the colored glass with a candle burning inside make this a wonderful addition to your collection. Highly recommend.

I treated myself to this candle holder!

I love the Phoenician glass candle holder. The colors are beautiful even when the candle is not lit. I love that it is made of recycled glass and that no two are alike.
