I bought this basket for my baby girl before she was born and it has been great! It is so sturdy and has plenty of room width and length-wide. The straps are super heavy duty too. My only complaint is that the cushion cover could be much better. It shrunk majorly when I washed it. I followed the directions by washing on cold and air drying and it shrunk to about 3/4 the original size so now it does not cover the entire inside of the basket. The red color of the cushion cover also majorly bleeded to the tan backside of the cover so it looks terrible and splotchy on the back. So my advice if you buy the basket is to make or purchase a separate cover for the cushion because a newborn will spit up on it at some point and it will need to be washed.

I bought this Moses basket along with a wooded rocking stand for next to our bed. It is perfect for baby and a very well made product! The basket is made of palm leaves as stated in the description and had a lingering sent of palm leaves from being shipped in the sealed box. My advice is to buy ahead of time so it has time to air out before baby arrives.

I am in love with this basket! My son naps so peacefully in it. It is high quality and beautifully crafted. The handles are strong and soft, and it is easy to pick up and move when needed. It is a great length for my long baby, and his big sister likes to play in it as well. I look forward to having all of my future babies sleep in this basket, since I know it will be around for a long time!

I am absolutely in love with this basket. It's so well made, the leather handles are a nice touch, and it looks great in my home. It fits perfectly in the rocking holder I bought for it too. If you're looking for a Moses basket, I highly recommend it.
