STORY

The Around the World Wreath Ornament and its traditional Guatemalan worry dolls remind us that we are all connected. Hang this handmade ornament on your tree, around the house during the holidays or any time of year as a beautiful symbol of interconnectedness. According to Guatemalan legend, worry dolls have the ability to remove worries while children sleep. A traditional set is used like this: at night, during tuck-in, children tell one worry to each doll and then place them under their pillow. In the morning, they wake fresh because they've shared their worries - and sometimes, just speaking our minds lightens the load. This sweet little handmade wreath ornament features 14 traditional worry dolls, each in traditional handwoven fabric. A thoughtful gift and a beautiful holiday tradition.

I had an Around the World Wreath from 10,000 Villages several years and lost it in a move. The ornament is very similar. I wish that you would sell the wreath again so that I could replace it.
