I had always avoided front bike baskets fearing it would make for dangerous steering. This basket is just a hair over 1 & 1/4 lbs, well under the maximum generally recommended weight of 12-15 lbs to safely put in a front basket. Super nice buckles and soft leather bands made for easy installation. Support bands fit neatly on handlebar among my cup holder, lights, and bell with no adjustments needed. Should’ve gotten this 10 years ago!

This was one of those purchases that once I saw it, I had to have it! It fits my bike perfectly and adds a level of convenience that I didn't even know I was missing - plus, it's attractive. Highly recommend!

This basket exceeded all expectations. I spent a lot of time looking for a reasonably priced high quality basket for my bike and came across this one. It’s rare to find a bike basket with real leather straps and the palm leaf construction looked a lot sturdier than a lot of the wicker options out there. When it arrived, it was even better than expected. I was worried about it sagging or being too floppy, but it holds its shape really well and there’s a lot of support on the bottom. It’s absolutely gorgeous and functional at the same time.
